You won't find a more experienced guide than Helen Burns. Helen fished most all of her life, from Puget Sound to Alaska and right back to Gold Beach, where she calls home.
A guide with more than 20 years experience fishing for salmon, crab and halibut, Helen has worked on commerical boats and has been a guide on the Rogue River for salmon and steelhead for more than 11 years. Fishing is her life.
The Gold Beach/Curry County area's abundance of fishing makes this area the place to be for the best salmon and steelhead fishing on the west coast.

The Rogue River is one of the most dramatic rivers in the continental US -- designated Wild and Scenic by Congress, and a favorite of fishermen everywhere. The Rogue is a favorite filming destination and was used in the film "The River Wild" with Meryl Streep and Kevin Bacon. Famous for its whitewater and jetboats, most fishermen know that the real appeal lies in what's under the flowing waters; Coho, silver, fall kings and spring chinook salmon, and steelhead.
Tackle is provided on our guided fishing trips, as well as breakfast on board. You'll find your fishing needs are more than met with a guided trip by Helen Burns.
